Occupational Safety Leadership Micro-Credential Badge
The Occupational Safety Leadership badge micro credential focuses on developing leadership skills in workplace safety management.
Rationale
This badge provides access to advanced training and by equipping students with safety leadership skills to help companies meet safety regulations, prevent workplace injuries, and protect the environment, the badge addresses the growing demand for safety professionals in today’s job market. This badge advances the students’ knowledge of high impact Safety practices which improve the workplace and beyond.
Course Content
- Safety regulations

- Students will also learn about strategies for promoting a safety culture within organizations.
The assessments of these learning outcomes will come throughout the course varying in the form of case study reports, module quizzes, and examinations. The badge will be giving if the student earns a "C" or above 70% total point score at completion of the course.
