BS in Industrial Engineering from WVU in 2005
Hoffman currently works as the Sr. End to End Agility Manager for Mars Petcare. In his current role he is responsible for developing and implementing a program that has a roadmap to deliver 25% improvement in Customer Service Levels (CLS) this year, while embedding Lean principles into the day to day work of the organization and adding resilience to supply chain to prevent future CSL loss.
After graduating with BS in Industrial Engineering from WVU in 2005, Hoffman started his career with Milliken where he was introduced to Lean Manufacturing with the mentorship of Harris Lean Systems. He also worked for Mars Petcare for 11 years in a variety of Industrial Engineering/Continuous Improvement roles.
Ryan was born and raised in Fairmont, WV as one of six children, two of who are WVU alumni. He has actively served on the WVU IMSE Advisory Committee (President 2019-2021) and is the Lifetime Member of WVU Alumni Association. He has been married to his wife Amy and they have two children Sawyer and Amelia.
