Harris started working for FedEx Ground in 2002 as a process engineer and has held several roles including administrative process engineer, hub industrial engineer, and regional operations engineering manager.
In 2020, Harris started working for PDQ Pickup LLC as the Director of Engineering. PDQ Pickup is a startup company focused on providing on demand pickup and delivery services. He has since held roles as Director of Operations, Vice President of Operations and Engineering, and Executive Vice President of Operations and Engineering.
In 2022, Harris was named Chief Operating Officer for EVmo Inc. EVmo Inc is a technology enabled fleet management and rental company connecting gig drivers with electric, hybrid, and internal combustion engine vehicles.
Harris has been involved with the IMSE Visiting Committee since 2008. He has served as the Vice President from 2017-2019. In 2019, Harris was inducted into the IMSE Academy of Industrial Engineers.
Harris is a native of Weirton, West Virginia. He currently lives in Chandler, Arizona with his wife Sylvia and their 3 children.
