Gillette started his career at Walt Disney World in 2005 as an intern and has since held roles throughout the organization including Workforce Management, Industrial Engineering, Operations, and Site-Wide Line of Business. In 2019 he became a recipient of the Walt Disney Legacy Award, and in 2023 he was promoted to executive leadership.

Since graduation, Gillette continued to serve the WVU Industrial Engineering department as an instructor and as part of the Advisory Committee before being elected to the Academy in 2024. He is passionate about the success of the department and continuing its legacy at WVU.

Gillette is a native of Huntington, West Virginia, and currently lives in Orlando, Florida.
