Industrial Engineering Graduation Requirements
Grade Point Average
- A minimum of 3.10 in IE courses and 3.00 overall.
- GPA is calculated only for the courses taken at WVU.
- Any student who drops below the average requirements will be placed on probation.
- Any student who stays on probation for two successive semesters will be suspended from the program.

- Required courses for the MSIE and the MSE degrees are determined by the students area of emphasis.
- Each area of specialization has a list of recommended electives. Other electives can be taken as approved by the committee.
- Required courses, research requirements and recommended electives for each of the specialization areas are shown in Exhibit II.
