Industrial Hygiene Graduation Requirements

Master of Science degree students are required to take a set of core courses that will total a minimum of 36 semester hours, including credits for a thesis or a problem report. Many students take more than 36-semester hours before graduating, depending on their previous experience and background. A grade-point average of at least 3.0 is required to graduate.

The Ph.D. in Occupational Safety and Health is designed to provide the appropriate skills to students who have already completed a M.S. degree from an ABET, Inc./RAC accredited program in industrial hygiene or safety. Each student must satisfy the University and CEMR Engineering - related Ph.D. Program requirements. In addition, the students must satisfy the following IMSE program requirements:
